Our Plant Guide for Mallorca

Our Plant Guide for Mallorca

Much like an artist uses paint and brush, plants are our tools. We choose them for their colour, texture and form, but also for something harder to name. The way star jasmine fills a warm evening with scent. The way bougainvillea spills over a stone wall and stops you in your tracks. The way a lavender hums with bees on a winter morning.

Every plant in our guide has earned its place not just by surviving the Mediterranean climate, but by bringing something genuinely special to the garden. Resilience is the starting point, not the whole story. These are plants that delight, that bloom generously, age beautifully, feed the senses and draw wildlife into the garden. Many serve the kitchen, and all reward you for choosing them.

Drawing on over 18 years of landscape design experience in Mallorca, we've curated the plants we return to again and again. The ones that thrive in Mediterranean heat and drought and still manage to take your breath away.
