Alexander Warren-Gash

Alexander’s deep connection to nature began in childhood, growing up in exotic locations with his diplomatic family. By age 12, he was already exploring the jungles of Cameroon on a scientific expedition, an adventure that sparked a lifelong passion for the natural world.

Settling in Mallorca in 2008, he founded Mashamba, where he brings together his love for nature and design.

With a deep respect for the land and an eye for beauty, Alexander creates gardens that feel both organic and refined. Designed for exploration, they draw you outside to enjoy the best of Mediterranean life.

Jennifer co-founded Mashamba to bring more beauty and romance to outdoor life in Mallorca, transforming uninspiring spaces into gardens and living areas that embody a comfortable, casual elegance and invite a deeper connection with nature.

Her design philosophy was shaped by time spent in African safari camps, where there is an understated luxury and refinement in design. That ethos guides her work today. She handpicks every detail to create spaces that feel layered, considered and alive, because it’s never just about how a space looks, but how it makes you feel.
